SCComp is preparing for full-scale production launch

SCComp Infrastructure is entering the final production-readiness stage for our commercial hosting platform.

Our full-scale production launch is scheduled for September 30, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. That milestone marks the point when we begin operating the affiliate-code program alongside the broader automated service platform.

What the launch means

This is more than a website update. We have been connecting ordering, payment, inventory, provisioning, networking, customer management, and support into one operating platform. The launch milestone is when those pieces begin working together as the normal way customers purchase and manage SCComp services.

Affiliate codes will officially become operational at launch. Account-linked codes can provide an eligible customer discount while recording the referral for the account owner who shared it. Usage, attribution, commission status, limits, and payout references are tracked through the platform so the program can grow without relying on informal spreadsheets or manual guesses.

Recent platform additions

A substantial amount of production work has been completed across the customer and operator experience:

- The customer and administrator dashboards now share a consistent, responsive management design.
- The service catalog supports VPS, monthly bare-metal servers, dedicated GPU-equipped systems, and a separate foundation for future hourly on-demand GPUs.
- Monthly physical GPU systems can publish their installed accelerator model, card count, and VRAM without being confused with hourly GPU capacity.
- Customers can track orders, devices, invoices, tickets, referrals, and documentation from one account.
- Searchable documentation, comments, likes, project updates, and detailed customer guides make platform changes easier to understand.
- Proxmox-backed VPS pages provide live CPU and memory information.
- Assigned physical servers provide supported health, inventory, power, virtual-media, and browser-console capabilities through protected iDRAC integration.
- Browser consoles have received focused reliability, keyboard, paste, detach, reconnect, and session-security improvements.

Building toward complete automation

The VPS workflow has been designed around a complete chain rather than a simple “create VM” button. An eligible order can move from confirmed payment into reserved inventory, collision-safe VM allocation, cloning, resource configuration, operating-system selection, credentials, networking, guest-agent verification, device creation, and customer-visible status.

The important part is the verification boundary: a service is not presented as ready simply because a virtual machine exists. Hostname, addressing, gateway, guest connectivity, and platform state must agree before fulfillment is considered complete. Network publication is kept behind that readiness gate so an incomplete guest does not become a customer-facing service.

Physical infrastructure is following the same model. Bare-metal catalog inventory, customer assignment, controller binding, system management, notes, recovery media, and termination records are being brought into one auditable workflow. Monthly dedicated GPU servers now use that same bare-metal path. Hourly on-demand GPU service remains a distinct future phase so its metering and capacity controls can be built correctly.

Reliability and security work

Production readiness also means doing the less-visible work that keeps services dependable:

- Public forms now use layered spam, replay, timing, validation, CSRF, and rate-limit protections.
- Session boundaries, cache policy, sensitive-path handling, TLS behavior, and security headers have been hardened.
- The mail platform now uses DNSSEC, DMARC reporting, TLS reporting, CAA controls, and enforced MTA-STS with an authenticated policy endpoint.
- Service changes are backed up, validated before reload, tested afterward, and recorded in the public SCComp Platform changelog.
- Customer infrastructure management remains authorization-scoped; private management networks and controller credentials are not exposed to the browser.

What we are validating before launch

The remaining period is focused on operational proof rather than adding features for appearance. We are validating checkout behavior, provisioning retries, stock consistency, customer notifications, referral attribution, device handoff, support workflows, and failure recovery. Public-address automation will continue to move forward only when the upstream network inputs and end-to-end tests are available.

Some services will still require staff review at launch. Bare-metal systems, specialized networking, unusual IP requirements, and custom infrastructure should be expected to pass through availability and technical review. Automation should remove repetitive work without hiding decisions that need an experienced operator.

September 30

At 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on September 30, 2026, we will begin the next operating stage of SCComp Infrastructure. Affiliate codes will become part of the active customer-acquisition workflow, and the platform improvements described here will support a more consistent path from service discovery to delivery and ongoing management.

We will continue publishing meaningful changes under Projects → SCComp Platform. Customers and partners who want to prepare for launch can review the documentation, verify their account information, and contact Sales or Support with questions about planned deployments.

Follow what we are building: the new SCComp Platform changelog

We have launched a new public home for SCComp platform progress.

The SCComp Platform project page gives customers, partners, and community members a clearer view of what is changing across our website and infrastructure. Instead of burying important improvements inside short announcements, we can now publish organized release notes with the context behind each change.

You can find it from the main navigation under Projects, then SCComp Platform.

What you will find there

Updates are organized into several workstreams:

- Website updates cover navigation, customer pages, documentation, ordering, and usability.
- Platform updates cover billing, referrals, account tools, and service workflows.
- Infrastructure updates cover VPS provisioning, physical servers, consoles, and datacenter systems.
- Network updates explain customer connectivity work, automation milestones, and important deployment boundaries.
- Security updates cover access controls, production hardening, and changes that protect customer systems.

Each update has its own page with a summary, publication date, and detailed release notes. You can filter the project history by workstream or sort it by date. The initial history already documents major work completed across customer management, browser consoles, bare-metal access, VPS provisioning, affiliate discounts, documentation, ordering, stability, and the network roadmap.

Why we added it

Infrastructure changes deserve more than a vague completed label. Customers should be able to understand what improved, what safeguards are in place, and what work remains deliberately gated until it can be proven safely.

The project page also gives us a durable record of how the platform develops over time. It will help customers discover features they may have missed, give operators a consistent place to explain meaningful changes, and make future plans easier to follow without overstating unfinished work.

What comes next

We will continue publishing updates as customer tools, provisioning, physical-server workflows, billing, monitoring, and network automation mature. Larger changes will receive detailed notes, while related improvements may be grouped into a single release entry so the history stays useful and readable.

Visit Projects → SCComp Platform to read the current changelog. If an update raises a question about your service, open a support ticket and include the relevant update, order, or device information.

SCComp platform update: new customer tools and the road ahead

SCComp is in active production hardening. Recent work unified customer and administrator navigation and made devices, orders, invoices, tickets, referrals, settings, and infrastructure tools easier to reach.

Eligible VPS plans now use Stripe Checkout and queued Proxmox provisioning with payment and guest-readiness gates. Browser console work improved input, paste, detach, reconnect, and authorization. Assigned bare-metal systems can provide protected browser-based iDRAC inventory, health, power, console, notes, and virtual media without publicly exposing management networking.

Account-bound affiliate codes now support first-payment discounts, redemption limits, self-referral prevention, usage tracking, collected-revenue commission for automatic checkout, and auditable payouts. Documentation is now searchable, filterable, sortable, individually addressable, comment-enabled, and managed with draft/publish controls.

Next steps are end-to-end VPS provisioning proof, approved repair of test systems from the obsolete-template period, and public IPv4/OPNsense automation only after guest provisioning is independently proven. Longer-term plans include deeper bare-metal ordering, reinstall and rescue workflows, billing reconciliation, monitoring, auditing, and continued interface consistency.

The platform remains deliberately honest about incomplete external dependencies. Engineering continues by inspecting live truth, backing up, validating, testing, and preserving authorization boundaries. Customers should report issues through Tickets with the affected order or device, exact time, and complete error.

SCComp Infrastructure LLC Moves Into a Buffalo Datacenter to Expand Hosting Capacity

SCComp Infrastructure LLC is excited to announce that we have officially moved our server equipment into a professional datacenter environment in Buffalo, New York. This marks a major step forward for our infrastructure, our customers, and the future of the hosting services we are building.

By colocating our equipment in a Buffalo datacenter operated by ColoCrossing, we are positioning SCComp Infrastructure LLC to deliver more reliable, scalable, and professional hosting solutions. This move gives us access to improved power availability, network connectivity, physical security, and the kind of datacenter environment needed to support serious business and infrastructure workloads.

Our current platform is focused on bare metal server hosting using enterprise-grade Dell PowerEdge C6400-series systems, including Dell PowerEdge C6420, C6520, C6525, and related server blade configurations. These systems are built for density, performance, and efficiency, making them a strong fit for customers who need dedicated hardware without the cost or complexity of owning and colocating equipment themselves.

With this move completed, SCComp Infrastructure LLC now has an abundance of available compute capacity ready to be deployed. We also have public IP address resources available, allowing us to support customers who need static IP addresses, dedicated network access, and room to grow.

Our bare metal hosting services are designed for users and businesses that need more control than traditional VPS hosting can provide. Whether customers are running virtualization platforms, game servers, development environments, storage services, business applications, or other demanding workloads, dedicated bare metal servers offer predictable performance and full control over the environment.

This datacenter deployment is only the beginning. SCComp Infrastructure LLC is continuing to build out its hosting platform, improve automation, expand available server configurations, and make it easier for customers to order and manage infrastructure directly through our website.

We are proud to take this next step and look forward to offering reliable, affordable, and flexible bare metal hosting backed by real enterprise hardware.

As we continue expanding, customers can expect more available configurations, additional networking options, and continued improvements to our hosting platform.

SCComp Infrastructure LLC is ready to grow, and our new datacenter presence gives us the foundation to do exactly that.
